Does God Contradict Himself?
God is bigger than Texas and more complex than your iPhone.
Physicist Niels Bohr once said, “The opposite of a fact is falsehood, but the opposite of one profound truth may very well be another profound truth.”
I’m starting to think a sign of a mature Christian is the ability to hold two seemingly conflicting truths about God and not go insane. God is in control, but we have a responsibility to do something. God is all knowing, but somehow we still get some choices.
No matter how big your head is, God will never fit into it. If he did I’d recommend you find another God to worship. Get comfortable not being able to figure out everything about God. One day it’ll all be clear. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. (1 Cor. 13:12)

Well said Joel.
Awesome Analogy Bro! Very True!
My absolute favorite! Coming to that conclustion has been a 26 yr process and I still strugle with it. Ha!
This is exactly why some people struggle so much with accepting God fully. It’s something you HAVE to take by faith. I’m reading the book “Just As I Am” by Billy Graham right now and he struggled with the same thing at one point in his life. You have to get to the point where you realize that God is bigger than our human minds can understand or comprehend. We’ll know when we see Him face to face, and not a minute sooner. Some people just can’t accept that!
