About Joel

Though currently unsure of my exact place in the world, I have been able to plod my way through a few things in life.  I finished college and scored a B.A. in Political Science.  I led backpacking teams around the world for a few years and managed to set foot in 60+ countries.  Growing up in Guatemala, Central America gave me a one-up in learning Spanish.  I have a paper that says I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling.  The smartest thing I managed to do was marry my wife Emily.  We have been living in Cusco, Peru for the last few years.  My current obsession is Summit Leaders.
